Made of wood and with the seating surface in natural reed mace, the chair is not only pilable - there is even a special trolley to move the resulting pile - but also "lineable" thanks to a special linking fixture. After his previous chairs, all fully designed, this traditional model seemed to be a wink to the past, a curious hybrid between "back to the archives" and revival - popular craft passed through the filter of design.

    Far from looking down on the rich popular craft tradition, modern Catalan architects have always valued and drawn from it. However, the fine irony linking this piece with the standard "guitarrist's chair" was lost on the public, which prefers a clear distinction between categories.
