This is a book that is also a proposal. Born of a project, of a conversation and, in particular, of some ideas that exist and that, suddenly, take shape as a decision. Some time ago the idea was lurking of making a book with a tape-recorder, with people talking. A new dimension of language, which printing has made us forget, which printing had reduced to a mere set of rules—and why not?—to a rhetoric full of good intentions. Here we realise that oral discourse enjoys a richness that written language does not possess. We walk around the city together and chat.
