A revival of a family of small-scale items of furniture which seem to be in danger of extinction - the catalogues of the main design companies scarcely pay any attention to such small-scale pieces. The idea was to redesign the typical side table with three folding legs, but making the legs more sinuous and slim-line and providing a high-quality crafted table top complete with decorative motifs in marquetry.

The fact that the legs fold make the chair easy to store and transport, and the client can even assemble it himself. Terence Conran blatantly copied this design for his own catalogue.
