It is a new version of the classic entrance-hall console table. It has a small top surface, just big enough for a telephone, a vase or a lamp, underneath which there are two drawers intended for keys, but big enough to hold a telephone directory. The whole thing is mounted on the wall and is supported by a single, sinuous leg which eye-catchingly curves inwards. The piece is hand-finished with inlaid marquetry.
