The task was to design a wall light, with certain dimensional limitations so as to comply with restrictive international regulations. The basic idea was based around a square, which would be given volume thanks to the malleability of glass. The light can be adjusted on its central axis and inclined so as to illuminate the floor, ceiling or an intermediate area. The name comes from the Spanish word for a nun (sor), because of the lamp's resemblance to a cornet or wimple.
