Further to an advertising pillar designed by OTB for the city of Seville, work started on installation of a kiosk of his in 1998. The basic structure was a rectangular box, in modules which could be extended for height, width and length. The framework was of extruded aluminium and Alucore panels, which could either be opaque or contain illuminated publicity.

An outer surfacing was included to provide ventilation, thus avoiding overheating. The kiosk can be adapted to a number of uses: for sale of press/magazines, flowers, sweets or ice-cream; adaptation for use as a lavatory is currently being studied. The kiosk has a neutral, timeless quality, helping it to integrate into any urban environment, although OTB did incorporate a Sevillian motif - the sale area reproduces the circumferences of the famous Triana bridge.
