“We agreed with Nani Marquina that if we took up again the idea for this item which formerly had been produced by Bd, we ought to improve it. On the one hand, I had to adapt to the possibilities offered by the purely craft manufacturing methods of India, but on the other,  much better photographs of the moon were available to me than before. After many trials with different phases of our satellite we opted for this first quarter and a larger size than the original.”
