Jewery collection Minos, 1987

(Necklace, earrings, bracelet and ring)

Producer: Cleto Munari

(Out of production)

Most of the architects invited by Munari to submit designs came up with micro architecture, scaled down versions of their own projects or architectural geometry. OTB preferred  an anthropomorphic theme, more closely linked to Greek Minoan tradition: hands which are fashioned into a necklace, a ring, earrings or a bracelet. The maquettes were made of cardboard and some prototypes were made of tin; the originals were given a thin coating of rolled gold. Their resulting archaeological look is a mixture of pre-Columbian, art deco and Greek jewellery.
