The Tolerant is a reinterpretation of the Delirio: an ashtray designed to make coexistence between smokers and non-smokers easier. A poorly extinguished cigarette becomes a source of pestilent fumes, and a heap of crushed, smouldering butts is a depressing sight. With the Tolerant, there is no need to stub out the cigarette forcefully; one simply lets it drop down the tube, where, within a fraction of a second, it suffocates from lack of oxygen and extinguishes itself harmlessly.
